DAY 215

An Open Invitation

  • Have you ever worked for the City of Savannah?
  • Have you ever had dealings with any department of the City of Savannah?
  • Do you have any stories, complaints, compliments or gripes about your experience?
If so, my campaign and this site is the perfect venue to expose and explain your experience.

I routinely receive calls and messages from concerned citizens every day about what happened to them at the hands of their supervisors and co-workers while employed by the City. My recent endorsement of Shaundra Smith McKeithen has touched off a whole new batch of reports that I'm fact checking. Ninety days remain in this campaign and I'm trying to bring as many dirty deals done in the dark to light on this site. I need your cooperation.

Please send me the details of your first-hand experience with the City for my growing files. I hear from cops-- past and present-- firefighters, office managers, former department heads, rank and filers...you name it. Your story may never receive a larger audience than this site. I have more than 100,000 users and you'd be surprised at their identities.

Shaundra McKeithen was fired from her job when she exposed a manager who had siphoned off more than $100,000 in cash paid to her department for licensing fees. Instead of being prosecuted, the manager was allowed to resign and keep the money. Instead of being promoted and rewarded, Shaundra was fired from her job. Now she's running for alderman and her story is being told.

There are other Shaundra's out there. Let me hear from you. Let everybody hear from you.
